Martin is a Solicitor Advocate and a CEDR Accredited Mediator. After studying law at Oxford, Martin trained at Herbert Smith and qualified into their litigation department. He became a partner at Herbert Smith in 1997 and Head of the Property Litigation team, conducting property and commercial litigation for a wide range of real estate and corporate clients. In 2007 Martin joined Dundas & Wilson LLP to set up and lead a London commercial and property litigation practice, and then in 2013 he moved to Wragge & Co LLP to head up their Property Litigation Team.

Following the merger with Lawrence Graham, Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co LLP has the fifth largest real estate practice in the UK and Martin is head one of the largest specialist property litigation teams in the UK. The team is based in London and Birmingham and also has access to a network of international offices.

As a Solicitor Advocate, Martin conducts a range of cases in all types of courts and tribunals, he also regularly mediates.
