Programme
The event will focus on 'LAND VALUE CAPTURE - Town Hall Style Debate'
There will be a panel of 3 individuals – 1 x exponents of the ‘existing use theory’ 1 x CPA speaker and 1 x other of either side.
We will take questions prior and have a pool of questions from Young CPA committee members to ensure momentum is kept up. The idea is to encourage a spirited (but respectful) debate on the issue.
Speakers:
- Paul Astbury – Carter Jonas
- Robin White - Shelter
- Neil King QC – Landmark Chambers
- Compare and introduction (one of the
Covenors)
Please encourage
all trainees and newly qualified members to attend this evening event
1) We request
questions which are then submitted to the panel before the event (either
anonymously or not) which will be open to debate
2) Questions
submitted from the floor on a hands up basis
The idea is to encourage a debate in the room as well as amongst the panel – and as such we will be encouraging the questioning of opinions from all and to all. The compere will remain neutral.
