John is a Chartered Surveyor and following some years in the commercial world he has been with the VO for over 30 years. He has had experience across the Agency business streams, including leading on Non-Domestic Rating operational maintenance and appeal work, but has most recently been providing advice and support to VO colleagues on legislation, litigation and policy matters and has been actively involved at tribunal and higher court hearings on high profile cases. He is a long standing member of The Rating Surveyors Association.
