Paul’s areas of expertise are building pathology, technical due diligence (TDD) (in the UK and Europe), and dilapidations; he is also an expert witness related to those areas of expertise. Paul was previously chairman of the TFT Board and executive board member. He is a former RICS Branch BS chairman, former RICS Branch chairman, chairman of RICS Dilapidations Forum Steering Group, contributor to RICS Dilapidations guidance note 2016, a trustee of the MS Therapy Centre Charity in Bristol and member of the fundraising committee of the Bristol Breakfast Rotary Club.

Notable instructions in recent years include TDD of a 13-storey private bank in Geneva (seven floors of which below ground) and TDD of a 287-year-old businesses sheep-shearing manufacturing factory.
