Alex Weatherall is a lawyer in SPB’s Real Estate team and has worked on several compulsory purchase schemes across the UK. He has particular expertise in site assembly, preparation of compulsory purchase orders and negotiation of voluntary land transfers to reduce the number of interests to be acquired through the compulsory purchase process.

He advises on both public and private sector investment initiatives and is currently representing a number of landowners who are affected by HS2.

As part of his more general practice Alex advises institutional and corporate occupier clients on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, portfolio management and landlord and tenant issues.

Alex is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Compulsory Purchase Association.
