Gemma Newell is a lawyer in SPB’s Planning team and has been involved in various aspects of compulsory purchase orders throughout her career.

She advises both public and private sector clients on general planning matters, including planning agreements and the procedure for planning appeals.

Gemma has significant experience in the compulsory purchase process, from initial requisitions, to preparation and implementation of orders, through to completing advance and full and final payments.
