John has over 35 years’ experience in the rating industry and leads a 140 plus rating team at Colliers International. When he took over responsibility for the team in 2005, it consisted of only a dozen people and has now grown into one of the leading rating advisory teams in the country. John is a member of Colliers International UK Board. 

John is regularly called upon by the national media to give his views on a range of business rates issues.

John also sits on the RICS Local Taxation Group and is a former Chair of the RICS Diploma in Rating Section.
