Steve Yates is a Director of Ardent and a Chartered Surveyor with over 16 years property experience. He has spent the last nine years dealing with compulsory purchase promotion and implementation principally in the transport industry. He has dealt with all aspects of infrastructure projects from land referencing, early acquisitions and negotiations of compromise agreements to the assessment of compensation claims. He is currently looking after several high profile infrastructure schemes.

Steve has a comprehensive understanding of the promotion of Hybrid Bills, Transport and Works Act Orders (TWA) and Development Consent Orders (DCO) having worked on a multitude of projects throughout his career. Working previously for both Network Rail and Transport for London on various projects has given Steve a thorough understanding of land acquisition for both small and large projects. Steve has also had extensive involvement with Crossrail, and managed a large section of the project covering Liverpool Street.
