Philip Scott is a Director of Planning based in AECOM’s London Headquarters. Philip’s primary focus is the delivery of commercial planning consultancy advice particularly in the south-east and London. Philip has over 27 years of professional experience including 11 years with local planning authorities and over 16 years in commercial practice.

Since 2000 Philip has advised private sector clients on a variety of major development proposals including major residential-led mixed use development projects, large-scale infrastructure, industrial, football stadia, heritage, energy, commercial office, and port-related development projects and leading on major planning application submissions. Between 2006 – 2014 Philip’s professional experience was developed in the commercial real estate sector advising residential house builders, private equity and pension funds, financial institutions, and government Departments.

Philip also advises clients in relation to S106 legal agreements, CIL, CPO, and Judicial Review. Philip has also acted for local planning authorities as ‘critical independent adviser’ overseeing major regeneration proposals and infrastructure projects.

Philip has advised on several major residential-led landmark sites in London (including sites in LB Wandsworth, LB Lambeth, and Westminster City). Additionally, Philip has recently acted for clients at examination in public, and at planning appeals.
