Michele is a Managing Associate in Dentons' Planning and Public Law team and has over 15 years of CPO experience. She advises on all aspects of compulsory purchase and compensation to both acquiring authorities promoting CPOs and claimants affected by them. Michele's recent projects include acting for Eastbourne Borough Council, successfully securing a confirmed CPO for the redevelopment of Eastbourne Town Centre and for Southwark Council promoting a CPO in Peckham; she is also advising the GLA in relation to the London City Airport CPO and acting for a number of claimants affected by the Cricklewood Brent Cross CPO. Michele has also been advising on the acquisition strategy for land subject to a Transport and Works Act Order together with related compensation claims.
