Graham Stockey

Graham is a highly regarded senior Chartered Surveyor with a significant industry profile. He has a wide range of property industry experience gained in both the corporate and private sectors. Knowledgeable in all aspects of the individual residential property markets in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, whilst having a good understanding of the commercial property market in Scotland.

Graham has served on the UK Council of Mortgage Lenders Valuation Panel, The National Surveyors Forum for Lenders and the RICS Residential Property Group in Scotland.
Graham trained with Graham & Sibbald in the late 1970’s and qualified through the RICS direct exam route. He remained at Graham & Sibbald until 1984 after which he worked for a short time as a Staff Valuer with Abbey National before taking up an appointment as a Partner in the small Paisley firm Winning & Fulton until 1992 when he joined Manchester based Dunlop Heywood as Head of Valuation for their Glasgow office. In 1995 he transferred to DM Hall as part of DM Hall’s acquisition of Dunlop Heywood’s Scottish operation.
In 1995 Graham took up the post of Regional Valuation Manager at Alliance & Leicester with responsibility for Staff Valuers and Valuation Panel firms throughout Scotland, Northern England, North Wales and Northern Ireland where he remained until re-organisation with Santander in 2009.


The two years from mid-2009 until March 2011 were taken up with work on a consultancy basis until joining RICS as Principal Surveyor in March of the same year. Since then Graham has been involved in the setup, roll out and ongoing development of the Valuer Registration inspection and assessment regime in the UK, Europe and other World Regions.
