Matthew is an experienced finance professional working in financial audit at Ernst & Young in London.

He has worked across a wide range of businesses but focuses on the real estate sector in which he has worked for 15 years. In that sector, as well as others, Matt provides audit, assurance and financial reporting advice services to various entities ranging from private equity real estate funds through to REITs and other listed property companies. He is experienced in dealing with leases, fund start ups, financing arrangements and real estate valuations.

His has worked with:
- businesses holding real estate assets including office, retail, residential, development assets, operational hotels and secured debt products
- UK, pan-European and Global investors
- hotel operators and owners
- healthcare businesses

Matt is also acknowledged in the real estate sector as being an expert in financial reporting.

He is a member of both the Finance Committee of the British Property Federation and the Best Practices committee of the European Public Real Estate Association.
