Matt has a diverse experience in planning, including large-scale regeneration projects, nationally significant infrastructure projects and the development of planning policy. He has a detailed understanding of planning law and has appeared at planning appeals as an expert witness. Most notably, Matt has acted on a number of high profile infrastructure project, including on behalf of EDF Energy in relation to Hinkley Point C DCO and Sizewell C, for Thames Water in relation to Thames Tideway Tunnel and for Transport for London in relation to the Northern Line Extension TWAO and Barking Riverside Extension TWAO.
