Head of Compulsory Purchase Order Policy, Scottish Government


Neil is Head of Compulsory Purchase Order Policy in the Planning & Architecture Division at the Scottish Government and, as such, is responsible for coordinating the development of proposals for reform of CPO systems and legislation in Scotland. Since joining the Scottish Government in 1998 he has worked in a variety of policy roles, most recently in Sustainable & Active Transport Policy in Transport Scotland, but also in Environment & Land Use, Rural Development, Social Inclusion, Pre-school Education & the Cities Review.
