Simon Cook is Managing Director of Roger Hannah Ltd and specialises in compulsory purchase.  He undertakes compulsory purchase instructions nationwide acting for both acquiring authorities and claimants alike.   

His career began at Manchester City Council where he was involved in the acquisition of land for Manchester’s Second Runway.  Since then he has dealt with major CPO’s including properties affected by the London Olympics, Cross Rail, Mersey Gateway and Liverpool One. He has also been involved with complicated Compulsory Purchase issues involving severance, rights of way and injurious affection.  Simon is regularly instructed to act as an Expert Witness in disputed Compulsory Purchase cases and in Upper Tribunal References.
