2008 – 2015 John was with Taylor Byrne a large property consultancy and valuation firm based throughout Australia. Initially focused on large scale specialist asset, agribusiness and going concern valuations, as well as advising receivers and managers on property disposals before taking a lead role in Taylor Byrne’s Projects Team. Advice focused on major coal mining, conventional and non-conventional gas projects, rail and electrical infrastructure projects throughout Australia advising on acquisition strategy, valuation and compensation advice.
John joined CBRE in August 2015 and is a Director of the Compulsory Purchase and land asses Consultancy Group. He is responsible for providing advice to acquiring authority clients, their development partners and property owners and occupiers affected by compulsory purchase on a wide range of issues in connection with regeneration, transportation and utility schemes.
Since October 2016 John has been
imbedded within the Heathrow Expansion Project including a period as the
interim head of Residential Property and now focusing on Commercial Property.
Throughout this time John has taken a lead role throughout the masterplan
evaluation process as well as providing strategic compensation and property
acquisition advice for the project.
