Caroline was called to the Bar in 2013 and is currently the third highest rated planning barrister under 35 (Planning Magazine, 2021).
Caroline has a broad practice within Chambers’ core areas with a particular focus on planning and compulsory purchase and compensation matters. She acts for both acquiring authorities and objectors. Her recent and ongoing work includes promoting the Vicarage Field town centre regeneration CPO in the London Borough of Barking, acting for Birmingham Airport in the Tribunal a Part 1 Land Compensation Act 1973 claim arising from a runway extension, and representing various claimants in compensation claims relating to HS2.
