Roger Messenger has worked in private practice for 38 years, specialising in commercial valuation, and rating consultancy. Roger joined Wilks Head & Eve in 1980 and became a Partner in 1993. Over recent years, Roger has tended to concentrate more on unusual property types for valuation and rating consultancy and additionally (in the real world) has been involved in a number of major property development projects on behalf of major developers and landowners. Roger has worked all over the UK for public sector bodies, major corporates, and private clients.

He is  Senior Partner of Wilks Head and Eve LLP and currently a Committee Member of The Rating Surveyors' Association and past president, is twice Past President of the IRRV. He has qualified as a Recognised European Valuer (REV) and is currently Vice Chairman of Tegova. The European Group of Valuers Associations

He often appears as a speaker of various Conferences and training days and has spoken at Valuation Conferences across Europe.
