Clarke Vallance

Director, Compulsory Purchase, Savills

Clarke Vallance is a Chartered Surveyor and a Registered Valuer specialising in compulsory purchase and compensation.

Clarke has been an integral part of the dedicated CPO Team at Savills since the team moved across from Jones Lang LaSalle in 2012.  Clarke has specialised in providing advice on compulsory purchase matters since 2010, having built up what he describes as an eclectic mix of hands on experience of the challenges and problems encountered by claimants and acquiring authorities who have found themselves in this often unsatisfactory corner of the property profession.

In terms of land assembly, notable clients include many of the London boroughs and several leading housing associations.  Clarke also advises and acts for a number of residential and commercial land owners who are affected by major infrastructure schemes such as High Speed 2, Crossrail 2,  various Network Rail and Highways England schemes, as well as a number of compulsory purchase orders promoting urban regeneration.

He is a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association and the National Infrastructure Planning Association.
