Hannah is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England
and Wales and joined EY in March 2011. She has specialised in forensic
accounting since 2015 and, in recent years, has focussed on quantifying
business losses arising from the compulsory acquisition of land. Hannah leads
EY’s compulsory purchase team of over 10 professionals that are geographically
spread across the country, including Scotland. The team has worked on claims in
the region of £100,000 to £90m and can support with early case assessments and
negotiation discussions through to providing expert witness evidence.
Hannah’s primary area of specialism is advising on financial and commercial issues in relation to compensation arising on extinguishment and/or relocation. Hannah works with clients to develop strategies for dispute management involving negotiated settlements, mediations and arbitration. She has worked with Acquiring Authorities, Developers and Affected Land Owners. Hannah enjoys working collaboratively with the wider professional teams and has been trained for providing oral expert testimony.
