Acting on behalf of Claimants and Acquiring Authorities in the acquisition of
commercial or residential land and buildings either affected by a Compulsory
Purchase Order (CPO) or in advance of a CPO. This includes advising on the CPO
process, assessing Market Value, preparing claim documents/budgets and
negotiating all aspects of compensation.
Regularly required to undertake detailed site searches to help in the relocation
process. This involves understanding Claimants requirements by developing a
clear knowledge of their business. This can also entail complex negotiations
undertaken on behalf of the Claimant.
Frequently instructed to prepare detailed objections to CPO’s in order to give
Claimants greater protection.
Regularly advising on complex CPO claims which are in dispute and which have
resulted in Mediation and references to The Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).

Preparing Expert Witness retrospective valuation reports to assist Litigation
Solicitors in ascertaining whether there is a case for negligence against historic
bank valuations.
Providing valuation advice for probate, matrimonial, accounts, purchase and
pension fund purposes.

of a national hoarding operator for accounts purposes.
