Ryan commenced his career in residential agency before joining Lambert Smith Hampton as a Graduate Surveyor in 2004. Ryan joined WHR Property Consultants in 2008.

Ryan specialises in the provision of business rates advice to a wide range of clients including funds, private individuals, asset managers and developers.

Ryan’s areas of expertise include valuation for rating purposes, the negotiation of rating appeals and completion notice advice.

Ryan had a detailed knowledge of empty rates legislation and advises upon empty rates, reliefs and exemptions.

Ryan advises upon a range of property types nationwide but with a particular focus upon retail and shopping centres.
