Sarah is a Partner at Baker Rose Consulting LLP having joined the practice in 2016. She is a Chartered Surveyor specialising in Planning and Development and has a Masters degree in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
Before joining Baker Rose she was Regional Planning and Estates Management for one of the UK’s leading waste management companies, with responsibility for over 150 minerals and waste sites.
Baker Rose is a property development consultancy specialising in infrastructure-led projects, particularly those with a transport or logistics focus.
Sarah is currently advising on
the rail needs case for two major rail-linked development schemes to support
the planning and Development Consent Order applications. She was heavily involved in the development
of a scheme to replace a rail terminal at Calvert, Bucks, affected by HS2. The scheme was consented under a Transport
and Works Act Order in 2018 and required a detailed mitigation strategy to deal
with complex ecological constraints. She
is currently acting for a range of investors, developers and major occupiers
affected by compulsory purchase on projects including High Speed 2 (Phase 1 and
Phase 2b), Crossrail 2 and Heathrow Expansion.
