Philip has over 33 years experience in the commercial real estate market and has been involved in the leasing, management, sale, acquisition, financial analysis, strategic planning and valuation of a variety of assets in real estate markets across Canada, the U.S. and the Caribbean. Philip has completed numerous valuations and market studies for clients across Canada. In addition he has also developed and coordinated real estate strategies for a wide variety of corporate, government and non-profit clients.

Philip currently manages the Public Sector Services Group based in the downtown Toronto office of the Altus Group Research, Valuation and Advisory Division. Philip is a Chartered Surveyor, Accredited Appraiser and a Professional Land Economist and is a graduate of Reading University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Land Management. Philip is also the former Chair of the RICS Ontario Chapter Development Series and a former committee member and chair for the Ontario Chapter of the RICS. He is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the Ontario Expropriation Association, the International Right of Way Association and an associate member of the National Executive Forum on Public Property.

Philip’s current practice area focuses on providing valuation and consulting services to federal, provincial and municipal government agencies in Canada. He has significant recent experience dealing with large infrastructure projects such as transit and rail corridors and station sites, hydro-electric corridors and power generation facilities, pipelines, telecommunications corridors and road transportation projects.
