Neil is a Chartered Surveyor and the Property Estates Manager at Aberdeen City Council. He currently leads the Estates Team which manages circa 700 leased properties and provides professional support to the Council undertaking or managing all property valuation, acquisition or disposal for Aberdeen City Council. He has 20 years experience of working for both the public and private sectors.

He has been involved in a number of infrastructure projects as either the acquiring authority or claimant’s agent/representative. Projects have included the M74 extension, Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, Haudagain Junction Improvement Scheme and 3rd Don Crossing (Diamond Bridge). He is currently involved in the project teams for progressing the Berryden Corridor and South College Street infrastructure schemes in Aberdeen.
