Frances is a specialist real estate litigator with considerable experience of advising on the full range of real estate disputes, ranging from landlord and tenant issues, such as lease terminations, dilapidations and service charge disputes, to complex contractual disputes, professional negligence, insolvency and disputes arising from fraud. She also acts in relation to specialist business rates disputes and regularly advises on business rates mitigation schemes.

As well as undertaking litigation and court work, Frances has extensive experience of preparing cases for mediation and has a very successful track record of settling cases for her clients without the cost and uncertainty of trial. A further element of her practice is her work with transactional real estate clients to avoid disputes arising and she works closely with the transactional real estate team and their clients to provide strategic advice on drafting to avoid potential disputes. 

Frances is a regular speaker and writer on a full range of specialist real estate litigation topics, including the 1954 Act, insolvency, the Electronic Communications Code and competition.
