Tim Mould QC is a planning, environmental and
local government lawyer. His recent cases cover a wide range of subject matter
including pollution control and human rights (Richards v Environment
Agency), nitrates and planning (Wyatt v Fareham BC), low
traffic neighbourhoods (Sheakh v Lambeth BC), the holocaust memorial (London
Historic Parks and Gardens Trust v Minister of Housing), planning policy
for gypsies and traveller sites (Smith v Secretary of State) and net
zero and HS2 (Packham v Prime Minister). Tim enjoys promoting rail
projects. In 2021 he promoted the TransPennine Route Upgrade between
Huddersfield and Dewsbury. In 2019 he promoted the second phase of the
East-West Rail Project. He continues to act for the Transport Secretary on
the HS2 programme as promoter of the current Crewe to Manchester Bill. Having
worked on the Crossrail Bill, he was delighted to make his first journey on the
Elizabeth Line last month.
Tim visited a snow bound Palais de Nations in
Geneva in late 2017 to appear before the Aarhus Compliance Committee, a
fascinating and rewarding experience!
