Ben leads the Welsh Government’s local taxation policy team responsible for non-domestic rates policy and reform. His background as a Chartered Accountant and government statistician supports his current role in local taxation, with previous experience in the Welsh Treasury, Wales Audit Office and Local Government Finance. He is currently focused on overseeing the delivery of Wales’ non-domestic rates reform agenda in the context of the Welsh Government’s ambition for wider local tax reform.
