Gavin is a forensic accountant, expert witness and expert determiner with over 25 years’ experience and who has given evidence under cross-examination 40 times. He heads Quantuma’s forensic accounting and investigations team.
He has specialist experience in dispute matters (including contractual, shareholder and partnership), warranty claims, professional negligence claims, and matrimonial matters as well as fraud and criminal cases. However, he has particular expertise in Compulsory Purchase matters, having acted for a wide range of claimants and acquiring authorities in order to quantify disruption and extinguishment losses with values ranging from low thousands to above £100m and has given oral evidence in the Lands Tribunal on several matters.
