Claire is a 'Band 3' Inspector at the Planning Inspectorate (or Principal Inspector in old money) and has extensive experience at s78 Hearings and Inquiries.  Recently, she was part of the Inspector Panel at the 13-week Inquiry for the Bristol Airport expansion. She also undertakes specialist casework such as heritage, Gypsy and Traveller and CPO. Claire is also involved in training other Inspectors in virtual and physical Hearings and Inquiries and in Heritage casework. Prior to PINS she worked at Historic England and at local planning authorities. When not working, Claire can usually be found out walking her two dachshunds or at her sewing machine.
