Myles O’Brien is the current President of the Rating Surveyors’ Association and Partner and Head of Occupier Rating at Montagu Evans, with over 30 years’ experience in the property industry. He specialises in rating appeal strategy and occupier advisory, advising major national portfolios and leading appeal strategies across offices, retail, industrial, leisure and specialist property types.

He is widely recognised for his expertise in the rating of film studios, having helped shape approaches across the UK, and has also led national negotiations on the rating implications of large anchor-store closures and wider town-centre change.

Myles has served on the RSA committee since 2019 and is a member of RICS and the IRRV.
