Chris has worked for the VO Group HMRC since qualifying as a surveyor in the early 1990s and is based in the Leeds office. He is currently the Deputy Director in the National Valuation Unit where he is responsible for delivering valuations of highly specialist and complex properties across England and Wales and delivery of all NDR work in Inner London. He is the statutory Valuation Officer for the Central List. His teams also include the Built Environment Team which comprises Building, Quantity and Mineral surveyors.

As well as being a Chartered Surveyor Chris holds qualifications in both law and management and has spent his career in the operational delivery of rating and council tax work for the Valuation Office.
