Oliver Heselton FRICS

Director, Dacour MacLaren


Oliver is a Chartered Surveyor and agricultural valuer. He has been in and around the world of utilities and infrastructure for a little over 30 years and has worked across electricity, water, gas, road, rail, interconnectors amongst many other things.

He is a Director in Dalcour Maclaren Land and Property and is currently leading land teams on a number of projects, mainly offshore wind and water and is also looking at business development opportunities across other sectors including Infrastructure and Networks.

Oliver’s immediate background was in Electricity Transmission with National Grid having spent over 14 years with them. He was mainly involved in DCO and CPO projects in that time, ultimately leading one of their new infrastructure land teams, and their land policy and governance team. He has also sat on a number of Government working groups on land rights reform and is an ex Chair of the Estates and Wayleaves Forum with the Energy Networks Association.
