Rahil has worked on a number of Development Consent Orders in the highways, airports and energy sectors. He takes a keen interest in the compulsory acquisition elements of infrastructure projects and works closely with land referencers, surveyors and other consultants to help promoters (both public and private) develop effective land acquisition strategies and obtain the land and rights required for their projects. Rahil has extensive experience in the implementation of major infrastructure projects and has advised on implementation strategies.

Rahil has acted for major landowners impacted by compulsory powers and regularly negotiates agreements between landowners and promoters. He is experienced in attending compulsory acquisition hearings and in advising on compensation matters.
