Alison Ewing

Director, Ewing Forensic Accounting Ltd

As an associate director in our forensic team, I advise clients on the financial aspects of disputes and litigation. My role often involves valuing a business or shares, or assessing the business loss suffered as a result of the actions of another party. This can include acting as expert witness and giving evidence in court.

Having more than 20 years' experience as a forensic accountant, I am well aware of the impact a dispute can have on a business, and I focus on helping my clients to achieve the best and most cost-effective solution for them.

My specialist area is disputes arising out of the compulsory purchase of land. I advise both acquiring authorities and business affected by compulsory purchase orders (CPOs). I am an active member of the Compulsory Purchase Association and often provide seminars on valuing the business loss suffered as a result of a CPO.

Outside of work, I like being outdoors and being active: tennis and running are my activities of choice at moment.
