Mark initially worked on the Countryside Stewardship team at Natural England before studying an MSc in estate management at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester. He then worked for three years as a land agent in Devon, qualifying as a chartered surveyor in the process, before joining the CLA in 2022.

As a generalist land agent, Mark has advised a wide variety of clients on a number of issues, but has a particular knowledge of grants and subsidies, environmental credits and Agricultural Holdings Act tenancy succession.
