David combines 14 years frontline political service with business experience to provide clients of property public relations consultancy SP Broadway with unique insight into localism, the politics of planning, and community and media relations.

Since leaving Parliament in July 2005, where he worked as Special Adviser to Crispin Blunt MP, David has led teams specialising in political and stakeholder consultation on sensitive development projects throughout the UK.

David has extensive experience managing, creating and implementing stakeholder engagement and community consultation programmes on behalf of clients in both the public and private sectors throughout London, the Midlands and Southern England.

David also has a strong political background: he has been an Oxfordshire Councillor since 1999, and was Parliamentary Candidate for West Bromwich East at the 2001 General Election. He subsequently worked within Tory HQ in the 2005 General Election.
