CPD

Continuing professional development (CPD) is the means by which people maintain their knowledge and skills related to their professional lives.’

The continuing professional development (CPD) requirements for RICS members, changed on 1 January 2013, state that:

  • All RICS members must undertake a minimum of 20 hours CPD each calendar year (January to December)
  • Of the 20 hours at least 10 hours must be formal CPD. The remainder can be informal.

Formal CPD can be any form of structured learning that has clear learning objectives and outcomes, such as a professional course, which is what CPT Events specialises in.
