The Service Charge Code of Practice is to be given teeth and become a RICS Professional Statement
In recognition of the demand in the market for high standards in the management and administration of service charges, the RICS will publish the Code as a Professional Statement. This will require a mandatory level of compliance for property professionals with implications for both landlord and tenant representatives.
