Leader of the Council since 2012, Lib has been instrumental in bringing new jobs and homes to the borough through the Vauxhall Nine Elms Development, for which she serves as Co-Chair of the partnership overseeing the regeneration project. Prior to becoming Leader, Lib served in a number of senior positions within the Lambeth Cabinet, securing a £450 million programme of investment into Lambeth’s housing, developing the Lambeth Homes Standard, and bringing new leisure facilities to the borough in Clapham, Streatham and Norwood.

SP Broadway is delighted to welcome Lib to the Politics of Planning roundtable for a discussion on housing, planning & development in Lambeth, and the future of planning in London with a general election imminent and a mayoral election on the horizon.
