The 31st annual conference examining current issues facing the modern rating practitioner. The 2025 Conference of the Rating Diploma Holders' Section of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, is open to both members and non-members alike.

The Diploma Conference is well known for its in-depth analysis of current practical rating problems. This years conference will focus on topics of special interest to rating practitioners at the present time, topics include; Surveying the Rating Field, An Update on Advertising and Buses, Effective Dates – The Simplified Version, Stage 5 – Is It Defunct? and Who is the Occupier?. Along with updates on the Birth, Life, Death and Resurrection of the Hereditament, Agricultural Exemption – Recent Developments, Hindsight – An Old Problem and Wayne Cox's Review of Recent Rating Cases. All sessions will be introduced and led by the Current Chair of the RICS Rating Diploma Holders' Section, Josh Myerson.
