London is the best city to build a European operation

According to a post Brexit survey London is number one in Europe as a destination for technology and financial services, it also came out on top for being the best city to build a European operation. Over 200 senior US tech executives were asked London was voted number one.

The poll was made by London & Partners which is Sadiq Khan the Mayor of London's promotional company, and it revealed that most tech executives surveyed ranked London as the city which is the leading technical hub. London surpassed cities such as Paris and Berlin. Over 57% also see London as the leading city for financial services, beating Frankfurt and Zurich to the post.

After the EU referendum further research and analysis was done of the survey which resulted in London being the number one city for tech executives who are looking to establish European operation. London was also voted top for favourable time zones, lack of language barrier, the richest talent pool, superior access of finance, and ease of doing business.

London's Mayor Sadiq Khan said of the results

When you combine that with our new-found technological expertise, it creates an unrivalled opportunity for companies looking to break into the European market. Despite the country’s decision to leave the European Union, there is no doubt that London will continue to be the booming and successful city it is today, open to talent and creativity from across the world and a leading destination for American business.”
