December's Discussion: A Round Up of General Rating Issues 2.0
In December’s edition of Rating Talking Heads, we will be focusing on a general mixture of rating issues. Topics being covered will include:
Empty Rates
A change in the interpretation of Section 65(5) will alter the way empty rates are applied; we examine the issue and explore possible solutions.
Challenge Submissions
As we write more and more challenges we will identify good behaviours and best practices to give submissions the best chance of success.
New Protocols for the Government Gateway
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) will be introduced from 01 December; we look at what MFA is and how this will affect rating practitioners that use the Gateway.
Tenants Fit
Mindful of ongoing litigation we will consider the current position and what may lie ahead
