Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs) are an effective and reliable way to get access to land for some public and compelling benefit. With a host of infrastructure and regeneration schemes, the demand for land is resulting in a wider use of CPO powers.
This programme is an overview of the compulsory purchase and compensation process and is aimed at those new to or not regularly practising in CPO work. It will be valuable to planners, lawyers, surveyors and administrators, whether from public bodies, statutory undertakers who exercise the powers, referencers who survey the land, or for claimant advisers.
This conference is a must attend event that will enable you to understand the complexities of CPO and practice.
